Tous Malaysia

Tous Malaysia had their grand launch at their store in Pavillion last week.
I am an absolute fan of Tous and was eager to go through their collection.

Tous is a Spanish brand and it is pronounced as 'Toast'.

Wore my very own Tous jewelry to the event =)

Their gorgeous designs made up mostly with their brand logo- a teddy bear!

Gwyneth Paltrow is the newest face of Tous!

You might be wondering, why teddy bear as the logo?

Here's a little story behind the teddy bear:

Salvador Tous Blavi and his wife Teresa Ponsa Mas opened a small watch repair shop,
which little by little ventured into the jewelry world. In 1965, Salvador Tous, the founder's son, married Rosa Oriol. The couple joined forces to pool their respective talent, experience and creativity in order to produce a whole new language, expressed in jewelry. In 1985, Rosa Oriol was inspired by what would become one of the most classic symbols of the brand name:
"During the course of my travels, I saw a little teddy bear in a shop window and it made me remember some wonderful moments from my childhood. So I thought: Why not make this teddy bear out of gold? It has become a good luck charm for millions of people all over the world, and for us, it marked the beginning of our international expansion. Even though we are continuously creating new collections, the teddy bear is always present in different shapes and forms. He is indeed very dear to me!"

I really love the teddy bear design. It's not only cute, but it's girlish and feminine hehe

Amber Chia was present at the event to model Tous accessories.

Couldn't miss a selfie with her =)

They provided gel manicure service as well.

Mine! So pweety hehe

Thank you Tous for a wonderful event and congratulations on your launch!

Make It Happen with Maybelline

Malaysia's No.1 makeup brand launched a brand new tagline, 'Make It Happen', calling out to young Malaysian women to go after her dreams without doubts and fear and instead with confidence, positivity and creativity that comes with the use of makeup.

You would be familiar to their previous tagline, 'Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline'. But with their new tagline, they are asking women to define her own beauty in her own terms, but with a drive and go-getter spirit that transcends beauty to an action to make whatever matters to her happen.

Essentially this expresses how Maybelline New York empowers women today to define her beauty, liver her life and make it happen.

Maybelline held a roadshow at Midvalley last week where they were having great promotions at the centre court.

During the roadshow, there was a short beauty workshop by celebrity makeup artist, Steven Sunny.

He gave a makeup demo to us girls on how to define our beauty through makeup with makeup techniques.

His bare faced model is about to undergo a transformation hehe

Steven Sunny working his magic.

Ta-dah! Simple yet it makes a statement.

One thing I've learnt from his session is that, girls shouldn't be lazy to put on makeup. At least go out with a red lipstick which can make your look pop without looking pale. Play with makeup and don't be afraid to use colours because it can define your beauty and we girls should always be looking our best even when you're out just for shopping. Makeup was made for us so we must make full use of it. I have to admit, I can be quite lazy to put on my makeup early in the morning before work but from now on, I'm going to Make It Happen and be more hardworking to enhance my beauty with makeup =)

Batman vs Superman

So who won?

Wonder Woman did.

Honestly, all the bad reviews you have been hearing about this movie is true.
Unfortunately, this blockbuster was a disappointment.

Between Batman and Superman, Wonder Woman stole the show! You would have seen her in the Fast & Furious movies. Gal Gadot exudes confidence, posh, sexiness and a really hot woman heroine! I am definitely eager to watch the Wonder Woman movie.

Sorry about the digression. Now, back to this movie, the plot was bad, the storyline was worst, the scenes were confusing and I really cannot believe I am finding so much fault in this movie which I have been so eager to watch previously.

Ben Affleck, my all time favourite let me down this time. They shouldn't have compressed so much into one movie. And the reason Batman was fighting Superman was ridiculous. I.just.cant.

My rating: 2 stars
1 for Wonder Woman and 1 more because I love Ben Affleck though he acting in a bad storyline couldn't salvage the movie.
