Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Transformers definitely did NOT dissapoint =) It did live up to its hype...
It was full of action and suspense, funny, and definitely a lot of eye candies *laughs*

Michael Bay sure know how to pick his actors. For a girl, seeing Josh Duhamel and Patrick Dempsey in one movie surely makes me very very happy HAHA
For the guys, Rosie Huntington was a good eye candy. She was sultry and sexy. However, for some reason, I still preferred Megan Fox XD

The main cast of Transformers

I saw the trilogy and I think I preferred the third installment to the second. Only because I felt the second one focused to much on the fights between the autobots and decepticons. 

This one however, I think, Michael Bay corrected his mistake and there was a good proportion of the fights, interaction with the humans and kick ass actions!!

Altogether, it was a great movie but probably a bit of an expected storyline...

Hence, I'll rate it 4 stars =)

Do catch this blockbuster movie of this year!

Dr skincare brands

Nowadays, I've been seeing many brands with a 'Dr' initial. These skincare products were created by Dr. so and so and they got it patented and then it's being sold at certain stores.
Gone were the days where chemists create the products for brands such as the likes of L'OREAL, Maybelline, SK-II and so on...Now, the trend is that whoever created the product gets their name on it *laughs*

So far, I've seen Dr.Murad, Dr.Young, Dr.Wu, Dr.G, Dr. Perricone, Dr.Brandt and some that I cannot remember -.-

I think the most famous is Dr.Murad. This is the first skincare brand I've heard with the initial 'Dr'.

Dr.Murad is available at all CN Health and Beauty centres. I went for facial at CN and the beautician only used Dr.Murad products. I find that all Murad products have very therapeutic scent. So, it made my facial very relaxed =) I especially loved the lip moisturiser, it has like a Vitamin C taste to it, made me feel like eating it *laughs*

I knew Dr.Young, Dr.Wu and Dr.G brands from SaSa stores. They carry these brands and it's quite popular among customers it seems.

Dr Young is quite famous for its Pore Eraser Balm.

 It is tinted so you can use it even without makeup during the day and through some reviews, it seems to be quite a good product. I, however have not tried it. I only have a face mask from this brand..

 

I have yet to try the mask because I have many other masks as well LOL But when I do, I may do a review on it =))

Dr.Wu is newly launched here. This brand is Taiwan's No.1 medical skincare.brand!
I have actually won the Intensive Hydrating Trial Pack from SaSa and have yet to collect my prize.

Again, when I use it later on, I'll review it =)

Dr.G is famous for its BB Cream...

It retails for RM95 for 60ml. For people with oily to combination skin, this is highly recommended by the salesperson. I think I may try this brand when my current BB cream finishes.

I was not familiar with Dr.Perricone MD until it launched it's newest product: Acyl-Glutathione

This product is to reduce skin aging and and creases. Erm..I'm not that old yet, so I don't think I'll be trying this in the nearest future *laughs*

Lastly, I just found out about Dr.Brandt when I was in Gardens, MidValley today. Gardens will be opening a store carrying Dr.Brandt I guess..

Oh well, so many brands with the 'Dr' initial are blooming up these days.
On top of all the current brands, now, there are just too many to choose which is the best for our skin XD

Summertime!!

It's Summer and bright colours are soo in!! =))
Well, in Malaysia, everyday is summer *laughs* But nowadays, it's getting hotter XD

So, pick up the brightest nail lacquer and paint your nails away!!

Due to the weather, wear flowy clothes like kaftan dresses...

Under the scorching hot sun, don't forget to put on your favourite sunnies!!

Lastly, never leave home without a sunscreen~

Wow! What a surprise wedding news! Daniel Craig aka James Bond just got hitched to Rachel Weisz. First of all, I didn't know they were dating!! They kept their relationship hush-hush all these while XD

But anyways, I think they make quite a good match =)

The Body Shop- Strawberry Shower Gel

Okay, I'm totally in love with this strawberry shower gel. I've tried many Body Shop's shower gels but this one blew me away!!

It has this wonderful strawberry scent that makes you feel like you're bathing in a bathtub full of strawberries!! Literally! I just love it so much! It makes bathing so much more fun *laughs*

Even after bathing, when you re-enter the bathroom, it still has that strawberry scent lingering around =)) And your body smell like strawberry all day as well haha

The scent is not too strong but just nice. Coincidentally, I brought this travel size shower gel to Cameron Highlands- the land of strawberries! Everything in Cameron is about strawberries...like there are so many strawberry farms, stalls selling the fruit up until the dessert is about strawberries!
Then when I bathe, it's strawberry as well *laughs*

Strawberry, strawberry, strawberry (makes you feel hungry now, ain't it) hehe but I can't get enough of the scent. The eating, part, however I got enough of it already at Cameron LOLZ

Try it!! You'll love it!

Green Lantern

Green Lantern was kinda ridiculous to me...Like it doesn't feel real. I know superhero movies are not meant to be realistic but this is too much LOL

This just reiterates the fact that my all time fav superhero movie is Batman =)) Iron Man comes in second.

However, it was funny at times and Ryan Reynolds' body is unquestionably the best bod for a superhero =p
But the most interesting part of this movie is definitely Blake Lively's character. I may be bias because I like her from Gossip Girl, but I think without her, the whole movie would be a total bore..

She went brunette for this movie from her usual blonde. She was so hot and she just added spice to this movie =) She and Ryan had great chemistry!

I'll rate this movie 3 stars over five.

The MMVA was held in Toronto, Canada recently..

Colin Farrel! Wow, it's been the longest time since he made any appearances. He was one of the presenter.

DVDs

I finally had the time to touch my DVDs hehe
So, I watched 'Roommate' and 'Just go with it'

Okay, roommate was lame. I, for one, have terrible experiences of horror movies because I cannot stand getting scared out of a sudden. But, this movie, my goodness, there's nothing so scary about Leighton Meester. Seriously, if I say this, means it's really really not scary at all because I'm easily scared!!

But I have to say, the similarities between Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly definitely look like long lost twins!

However, sad to say, this movie have so many stars such as Cam Gigandet, Nina Dobrev, Daneel Harris and many more but it was a terrible production XD

On the other hand, Just Go with it was hilarious!!

Any Adam Sandler show guarentees you laughing!! Couple with Jennifer Aniston, I'd say this show is a great comedy!!

I laughed from the start to finish! I especially loved the appearance of Nicole Kidman! Boy, that woman can dance!! Serious!

Adam Sandler once again never failed to impress me with his comedic skills =))

Super 8

Seriously, don't bother wasting your money watching this movie. A movie by JJ Abrams and Steven Spielberg is dissapointing.

I actually have nothing much to say coz mostly, it was too ridiculous and stupid to comment -.-
And the title has nothing got to do about the entire story as well.

Just one reminder if you really insist on watching it: When the credits roll out, stay on because there's more. But you won't miss out much also larh haha

China Glaze Black Mesh

Finally my CG Black Mesh arrived!! So excited =)) Hehe

So I experimented the Black Mesh with different colours with different concentration.
I had 5 different colours on firstly:

Then I applied the Black Mesh. Ta-Da!

                                         Clockwise: Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Purple

You'll notice that it works best with striking colours. Therefore, I like the Black Mesh best with the yellow, red and purple. Not so much with the light blue and light green.

Also, on the yellow, it was not concentrated. Hence, it cracked more with finer lines. Whereas, on the other four fingers, it was more concentrated and it cracked less.

It actually depends on your preference, but I like it better if it cracks more. 

Overall: I'm in love with the Black Mesh =)) Definitely did not regret buying it!!

Cameron Highlands

Sorry, blogger was M.I.A for a few days due to a trip to Cameron Highlands!

Ain't the scenery beautiful?? All the greeneries there were breathtaking! From the Boh Tea plantation to Brinchang Hill to Tanah Rata plus the cool weather, it was a good place to rest and relax for a vacation =)

Just be careful of the winding roads!!

Charles Worthington is a brand from London. Recently, it has arrived at Malaysian shores and can be found in Watsons Malaysia =))

I have recently purchased the Charles Worthington's Brilliant Shine shampoo and conditioner

To be honest, I was skeptical about the 'Salon Results' it should give because I have tried so many shampoo brands which guarentees a lot of results but turned out the same. However, I was impressed by this brand!!

Even after rinsing the shampoo, I could feel my hair soft and after conditioning, it's the best feeling in the world! My hair was so soft, silky and smooth just like what it said on the bottle. No kidding!
It has a nice scent too! I don't know, I think it's lemon-y *laughs*

Okay, that's it! CW has captured my heart and I think I need to change shampoo brand already =)
The CW range of products are very affordable as well!
