Murad Night Fix Enzyme Treatment review

I have written about Murad's latest product range- the Prebiotic series HERE.

Today, I am going to review their star product, the Night Fix Enzyme Treatment under the Prebiotic range.

The colour is very outstanding. The whole range is in a deep purple colour and you will never be able to miss it. Packaging is a win, plus the pump bottle is so easy to use without the hassle of a cap.

Now, let's put this to test. Used this for over a week combined with the Prebiotic range of products. Let's see my step by step skin regime.

 I start off with the Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser to wash off my makeup and cleanse my face to prep for my skincare at night. Here I am using the travel size product.

Then, I move on to the Prebiotic 3-in-1 MultiMist to refresh and hydrate my skin so that it can absorb the next skincare better.

The MultiMist is one of favourite product as well because the mist is very fine and really absorbs fast into skin.

Now, it's time to moisturise. 

I'm currently using the Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream.

And then the last step is the Night Fix Enzyme Treatment. 

Pump 1-2 dollop and apply.

The texture is matte and non greasy.

Easily absorbed into skin without any leftover feeling. So it's non sticky to my pillow.

Massage over face and neck as the last step of the skin regime. 

The night time ritual!

Keep the Night Fix Enzyme Treatment near your bed so you can smooth over skin just before lying down. Ensure all devices are switched off or in a do not disturb mode. Close curtains and remove any light sources. After applying, cup hands over nose and take 3 deep breaths in through the nose counting to three during the process.

The aroma technology which is shown in clinical trials enhance sleep quality which goes beyond traditional aromatherapy and marries the science of sleep with power of scent. The Night Fix contains the following scent:

Here's the results!

After the wedding and all the stress and thick makeup, my skin was going downhill and I needed an effective routine for skin reparation on SOS.

Just one night of the ritual and this is the morning after result. 

Before usage, skin was dehydrated, pinkish due to sensitive skin and dry and flaky but oily on the T-zone parts. Pores were also open and dry. After one night of usage, skin looks refreshed, awakened, more hydrated and has some colour to it other than a pale dull look.

After one week of usage, I can see more results on my skin:

 My chin area had a lot of breakouts previously and following a strict night ritual repaired my skin and blemishes were disappearing.

After one week, skin is more clear with improved texture, refreshed and glowing. Dry skin no more around the cheek areas. Skin feels smoother as well because it is more moisturised and hydrated as compared before.

Okay I digress haha I'm just really inspired by this brand. Anyway, this Retinol Youth Renewal Serum quickly and visibly minimises lines and deep wrinkles, evens skin tone and boosts radiance for more vibrant, youthful-looking skin. Studies have shown that 93% saw a reduction in line and wrinkles in 2-4 weeks. That's really fast!

As you can see, although it's named serum but it's more of a lightweight cream in my opinion. The pump bottle is super convenient and 1 full pump is more than enough because you only need a thin film on the face.

After spreading on my face, I realised it absorbs rather quickly and it felt like nothing which is perfect for my oily/combination skin. I dislike those which stays on my face leaving it greasy the next morning.

I have been using it for almost a week and although there were no major improvement but I love that there were no breakouts whatsoever =)

When I first tried the cream, I was actually quite worried about its richness because of my oily skin. But Mr David said he has oily skin too and it works perfectly for him. So I needn't worry. True enough, when I applied on my face, it does not have a greasy/sticky feeling. In fact, it absorbed quickly leaving my skin with a matte feeling and I wake up the next day without a shiny forehead!

I'm really quite satisfied with using all 3 retinol products. It works well for my oily/combination skin and I did not suffer any breakouts. My skin feels thoroughly moisturised and nourished the next day. It makes it easier to put on my makeup as well. I have also realised less panda eyes after 1 week usage of the eye cream hehe

Further, all the above products are very lightly fragrant. The plus point is that the fragrance are natural because they are botanical based. No fragrance oil etc. The scent comes from the likes of peach, cucumber, honey etc which are all fresh and guaranteed natural!

You must be wondering when should you start using retinol based products suitable for anti ageing? Well, it can used as early as in your 20s and above. It can be a preventive measure or a corrective measure. If you use it when you're young, it helps skin resist future signs of ageing and prevents early signs of ageing.
