Ayamas Kitchen Dim Sum

QSR Trading Sdn Bhd (QSR) through its shelf brand 'Ayamas Kitchen', has recently launched a range of delicious halal frozen Dim Sum varieties to cater to food lovers.

The frozen dim sum offers convenience to all who wants to enjoy the specialty, even when they are too busy to prepare it in the conventional way. Apart from five star hotels, not many restaurants serve halal dim sum. The Ayamas Kitchen's halal version will now allow Muslims to enjoy the dish in the convenience of their own home.

The launch of Ayamas Kitchen's dim sum range.

The company offers 10 varieties of Dim Sum which include Prawn Hakao, Chicken & Prawn Shaomai, Shrimp Dumpling, Chicken Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf, Curry Chicken Shaomai, Radish Cake with dried shrimp, Barbeque Chicken Bun, Chicken & Fish Beancurd Roll and Prawn Shaomai.

The shaomai range. In my opinion, the chicken and prawn shaomai is the best.

The chicken and fish bean curd roll was the best!
The chicken glutinous rice with lotus leaf was not too bad also. Very good combo.

Hakao udang was good when it's hot but it became sticky when cold and stucked to the paper and plate and tore off.

Curry chicken dim sum. A bit weird though haha

Barbeque chicken pau was also very good.

Comes in frozen packs. They even have the Ayamas Kitchen Combo Pack Dim Sum.

Their products are made from fresh ingredients, packed with quality materials, using the latest technology and equipment so that our customers can be sure that they are 100% safe for consumption. The products are certified halal by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), a JAKIM approved certification body.

The Ayamas Kitchen's Dim Sum range is easy to prepare through various cooking methods. The dim sum can be steamed, boiled, fried or microwaves, before the food is ready to be enjoyed. However, for the best eating experience, I would recommend it to be steamed the traditional way. The dim sum goes well with their Ayamas' chili sauce and Life's Hoisin sauce.

There were a few hits and misses but the ones that hit, I will definitely purchase them for party packs!

The varieties that are now available at Giant supermarkets nationwide, are:

Prawn Hagao (RM13.39)
Chicken and Prawn Shaomai (RM10.59)
Shrimp Dumpling (RM11.29)
Chicken Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf (RM11.99)
Combo Pack Dim Sum (RM12.79)

Ayamas Kitchen Ready-To-Eat Range

Kedai Ayamas through its shelf brand ‘Ayamas Kitchen’ has recently launched three new addition to its range of delicious Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products, offering customers quality food on the go. The existing flavours, which are the Bukhara Chicken Briyani, Nasi Pilaf with Butter Chicken, and Nasi Kandar with Chicken Masala were launched last year.

The new additions this year adding more varieties to the RTE range are:

Nasi Kari Hijau Ayam Thai
This is actually my favourite. I love that although it's frozen but it's still flavourful when it's time to eat. I love anything Thai and this even comes with vegetables so it's healthy!

Bihun Goreng Istimewa
This is the classic bihun goreng you get when you eat at Malay store. This brings back memories when in school canteen I used to eat 'bihun bungkus'. It has an omelette that goes with it together with the sambal, which of course is a must have!

Nasi Bijan Ayam Bulgogi
Not only do they have Thai style, Malay style and now Korean style!
However, I must say that it is just somewhat a resemblance of the Korean bulgogi but nevertheless tasty and a little spicy.

Ayamas Kitchen is still continuing to refine the recipes and create more varieties for on-the-go food fans, especially the young adults and millennial generation. Their RTE products are prepared in a hygienic environment with strict quality measures and the correct proportion of nutritional value, which ultimately supports idea of being healthy yet keeping the home-cooked taste alive.

With the tagline “Easy and Delicious”, Ayamas Kitchen’s RTE range is easy to prepare.

All you have to do is pierce the top film of the container with a fork.

Then, simply heat for 4 – 5 minutes in the microwave.

And ready to eat!

It is so convenient for those always on the go, just like me! Honestly, this saves so much time. I'm the type that do not like to waste time going out, think about what to eat, walk in the hot sun, wait for food and then 1 hour of your office lunch time is just wasted when it can be done within 15 minutes in the office. I bring this to office so that I can just microwave it during lunch time and eat at my own convenience. It is easy, convenient and saves time!

The Bihun Goreng Istimewa is sold at RM5.90 per packet, while the sesame seed rice with chicken Bulgogi and Green curry chicken with rice is sold at RM7.90 per packet. This ready-to-eat range is available at all Kedai Ayamas outlets in Malaysia.

Yeap, you can find them in the refrigerated area.

Ayamas Kitchen's range of pastes

I love Malay cuisine. Because I studied in a Malay school and grew up liking Malay food, I cannot live without my nasi lemak, sambal, ayam rendang, masak merah, kurma etc But of course, the place I always go to eat is at Malay shops or tapau from the roadside stall(the best!).

Well, lucky for me and for you too if you love Malay cuisine, Kedai Ayamas has recently launched its range of cooking pastes and sauce through its shelf product 'Ayamas Kitchen'. Now, you can cook your very own Malay dishes from home without hassle. Transform your normal chicken meal into a variety of Malay dishes, from the rich and traditional Rendang to the mouthwatering Kurma as well as the delicious Masak Merah. Oh, I feel my tummy growling.

They recently held a blogger's party to introduce these pastes and sauces to us.

The 3 pastes; Sos Rendang, Pes Masak Merah and Pes Kurma.
The pastes are conveniently packed with the blends of authentic Malay spices. With the tagline, 'Quick, Easy and Delicious', Ayamas Kitchen's paste makes it easier to re-create traditional food at home, eliminating the stress out of cooking while offering the authentic flavours of Malay cuisine.

Cooking demo to show us how it is done at home.

The pastes are 'sauce concentrates' that can be mixed with water, stock or coconut milk, chopped onions, potatoes or chopped tomatoes to create a delicious gravy for chicken, meat and even seafood dishes in less than 30 minutes. In addition to the pastes, Ayamas Kitchen also introduces its very own chicken stock powder to enhance the natural flavour of your dish.

The final product for us to try:

Kurma chicken.

Rendang chicken.

Ayam Masak Merah.

Rice and nasi himpit to go with the chicken.

And of course not forgetting desserts.

Surprisingly, the paste resembles the authentic sauce. No more tumis-ing your own sauce at home and for working people like us, cooking is made much easier!
All tasted good but my favourite was the Rendang Chicken! The rendang sauce was very flavourful with its spices. Can't wait for my mom to cook these at home with the pastes hehe

In the midst of eating, managed to play some quiz game and won a prize haha

All working people out there, if you want to save time cooking your favourite Malay dish at home, go and buy the paste! The best thing about it? Ayamas Kitchen Pastes are sold at only RM2.80 per packet!! Each packet is 100g and are available at all Kedai Ayamas outlets.
