During the Moist Diane Perfect Beauty media launch event at the Forum, KL, the winner of “She Is Diane” was selected among social media influencers who had participated in the “search” where each influencer had to upload at least two Instagram postings of them participating in a positive passionate cause, for instance, volunteering in charitable, environmental and educational causes after they have used the new Perfect Beauty range by Moist Diane, within a time period of ten days. 

The winner of the search walked away with products worth RM2000, RM1000 and RM500 respectively for First, Second and Third Winner, while the rest of the contestants received consolation prizes worth of RM100 products each.

In addition to the Organic Moroccan Argan Oli and customised Beauty Keratin, the Moist Diane  Perfect Beauty range is also powered by three key scientific features:

Where to have good entertainment in Genting?

Rockafellers Kitchen + Bar Malaysia’s and WOW (an acronym for Whiskey ‘or’ Whites) were recently launched at the glitzy and glamourous Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands. Fashioned by renowned F&B restaurateurs, the Olive Tree Group, the two outlets, Rockafellers Kitchen + Bar and WOW are distinctly different from one other but share the same sophistication and immaculate service the group is famous for.

 Rockafellers (an ironic moniker reflecting the outlet’s ‘rock’ music orientation, and its sworn duty to provide the best live entertainment) is sports incarnate and a typical ‘sports concept bar’. The only giveaway of Rockafeller’s double identity as a fine dining establishment is its demurely sophisticated gourmet restaurant-inspired spot lighting scheme, and the volume of the piped-in 90s soft rock music, which is low enough to allow for conversation without the need for screaming.

 WOW is a concept bar that focuses on whisky, alfresco dining and gourmet Asian-Fusion style bar food in an industrial chic setting. They have a great selection of 70 different types of whisky and imported Cuban Cigars added to our collection. WOW gives you the perfect setting to enjoy a drink and a fine cigar. Their bar is the ultimate oasis for indulgence in life pleasures.

Located at the Asian Bar Street side by side, we were treated to a lovely night of fantastic food with great entertainment and not forgetting alcohols! 

But start off with a mocktail to refresh our taste buds after a journey up to Genting.

With some samosa to fill our tummy.

Barflies not keen on hoity-toity dining affairs will be chuffed to know that etiquette-optional finger food is complementary with all beer orders.

 On the other hand, those seeking some fine dining food will be glad to know that Rockafeller’s dining menu is as fine as they come. Featuring a stunning beauty pageant parade of epicurean North Indian, European, and Fusion cuisines running the gourmet gamut of appetizers, soups, starters, main courses and desserts, the ‘gastropub’s gastronomic choices are designed to make foodies weep.

The night started off with mouth watering starters. My favourites were:

Seared pepper rare tuna. 

I love sashimis so I was surprised this was done perfectly here(because it's not a Japanese restaurant) and I won't lie to say I took a few of this by myself haha

Dahi puree. 

This was another fan favourite. It may look dull but bite into it and the mouth watering salsa base will excite your taste bud and the crunchy outer crust provides texture to it. This was my favourite throughout the night <3

Then came my mojito to kickstart the night.

With tastebuds galvanized from the delightful selection of starters, the main courses were introduced. And I must say, the Olive Tree Group pulled out all the stops to satisfy.

Sautéed spinach & harissa and sliper lobster spaghetti in Pomodoro sauce.

Look at the lobsters!! The lobsters were fresh, juicy and super satisfying. Together with the spaghetti, this was a very fulfilling meal.

Crispy skin seabass served with seafood risotto and mango salsa.

To be honest, I am not a fan of fish dish, but, I was a convert after this! I don't normally finish a fish dish but I totally finished my portion of it. Because the seafood risotto was very flavourful and it complements the seabass. Btw, I even found a few abalones in the risotto okay! Talking about being worth it haha Plus the mango salsa just added a sweet and sour kick to it.

Mint crusted grill lamb rack served with cous-cous.

Ooh this not only looks good, it taste even better! It was marinated and grilled to perfection. Two thumbs up! The lamb tasted good just by itself but the spicy sauce just adds a Malaysian flavour to it which I love because I love my sambal haha.

The main dishes goes well with The Olive Tree own house wine. This wine is under their own brand but it's not sold in retail. You can only get it at The Olive Tree Group restaurants. I tried the red wine and I was surprised that it does not taste like any other house wine. There's an aroma with a light body to it with a slight aftertaste without making it too bland or too sour.

The Olive Tree Group are also an authority when it comes to Indian food for those with a hankering for something spicier. All Indian food choices are accompanied by a choice of rice or naan.

Tandoori whole chicken leg with tikka masala.

Ahh, tandoori chicken in mamak is always those fried ones with mint sauce. But the combination of the tikka masala makes this heavenly and I was truly dipping the naan into it like a true mamak style hehe

Paneer tikka lababdar.

To those who don't know what paneer is, it is a type of milk curd cheese. I fell in love with paneer when I went to India previously. So to those who love authentic Indian food, you know to come here ^_*

Delicious minced mutton stuffed with aloo bojpuri.

This is mince mutton stuffed into potato. Very unique dish and pretty much all their curries are filled with spices and it is spicy and flavourful. Our table practically finished the naan just dipping into all the curries =')

 We were accompanied with music by the band EXPLICIT LO and DJ TWOBA.
My gosh, I have never heard such good band in a bar. All the musicians were so talented and the singers can even sing in Chinese HAHA We thoroughly enjoyed the performances and the songs choices were something we all sang to <3

Dinner was then topped off with classic chocolate brownie for dessert.
You never finish a course without dessert! The vanilla ice cream tasted very erm...vanilla-ish if I can put it this way which means to say it's very rich and yummylicious =)

Thank you The Olive Tree Group for an entertaining night and we went home with stomach so full, we all slept on our way home hehehehe

Domino's unveils Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake

Mmmm..

Verdict: I'm a dessert lover myself and I happen to really like cheesecakes haha. I love the combination of the salty cheese and the tangy blueberries. Because it has a molten centre, it is not so 'jelak' with the cake by itself. I was surprised that it wasn't very sweet which is a plus point. Overall, a good dessert to end a pizza meal =)

The flavorful cheese cream comes all the way from New Zealand and fresh blueberries from France. You can actually see the blueberries in it.
