BB Cream is soo yesterday. Introducing CC cream! Dr Brandt launched their newest CC Mat cream with the tagline 'Turn your skin into a flawless work of art'! The launch was held at Ben's Publika.

At the entrance, they had a photobooth with cool props to take pictures for an Instagram contest.

Julie Andre (International Training & PR Director for Dr Brandt) gave us detailed information on the CC Mat.

So, what's the difference between BB cream and CC cream, you ask? Well, Blemish Balm(BB) is more makeup while Colour Contour(CC) cream is more skincare. Dr Brandt CC Mat is an all-in-one oil-free colour control cream which provides instant mattifying coverage and oil-control, giving your skin an instant makeover.

And now I get to use my very own Dr Brandt CC Mat cream.

There are two shades.

I'm using light- medium.

The other is medium-dark.

Key Ingredients:
• SHINERASE Complex - Dr. Brandt’s breakthrough shine minimizer made of: sebum regulating marine extract (diminishes sebum production) & skin mattifier (erases shine for an instant matte look).

• SPF 30 / PA +++ (natural mineral filters) - protects skin against sun damage while helping decrease pigmentation and prevent photo aging.

• Micro-encapsulated water spheres, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Adenosine - Smoothes & hydrates

• Tone-perfecting Skin Evener (Vitamin C & skin lightener) - Brightens & evens skin tone.


Dr. Brandt recommends: Shake well prior to each application. Apply a small amount, evenly to face. Blend outward using fingertips for uniform coverage. Apply layers (allowing each to dry) by softly dabbing to build desired coverage. Can be worn alone or with makeup as a makeup base.
For dry skin, advisable to put moisturiser before application.

It's an au naturale look! My skintone is more even and I look more radiant.

I like that for normal daily use where you don't need much makeup on, just apply the CC Mat, which has a 7 in 1 formula skincare benefits for the skin and you're good to go!

As stated earlier, it's most suitable for combination to oily skin *Me! Me!* because it has colour and shine control. It's suited for hot humid weather as well such as our country, Malaysia with SPF 30 PA+++
Plus, it's non comedogenic which means it reduces the chances of getting blackhead *jumps for joy*

Hence, the CC Mat is most suitable for my skin type and I'm loving the no makeup natural look =) It hydrates my skin well and a good shine control!
However, there's not much coverage but if you want, treat this as a base and apply foundation on top of it.
