There's one thing that always bring Malaysians together- F-O-O-D!
What's the common thing during festivals, parties, gathering, carnivals? F-O-O-D!
We Malaysians can never get enough of food and we're so lucky to have abundance of them here.
To usher in the year end festivities and especially the coming Chinese New Year, SCS Butter, knowing very well how much we love food, upgraded their familiar festival classic, the Pineapple Tart to cater to our sweet taste buds during gatherings!
Pineapple Tarts: A Collection
I'm sure everyone is familiar with Pineapple Tarts. Among the cookies that are prevalent during the numerous festive seasons in Malaysia, none is as popular as the perennial favourite, the pineapple tart. It's my favourite! Especially during Chinese New Year when we go open houses and I love trying out different types of pineapple tarts. For generations, this sweet and savoury bite-sized pastry is a must have for family reunions and whose quality make for impassioned conversations between middle-aged aunties wanting to perfect their own pineapple tart recipes.
The shapes and sizes of these delectable treats differ from region to region but it doesn't take a connoisseur to know that the pastry plays an equally important role as the pineapple jam filling. Hence, quality ingredient is very important and SCS Butter takes pride in their creation using their quality butter to create buttery, fluffy and crusty pineapple tarts just for you!
For over a century, SCS has remained Singapore’s top-selling butter brand and has secured its position in refrigerators everywhere as the preferred premium butter brand that everyone wants to have in their cakes, cookies, pastries, and on their toast as they dash off for another good day at work. Renowned for its premium quality, taste, and texture, SCS butter is the definition of au naturel, free of artificial colourings, additives, preservatives and hormones. Produced in Australia, SCS butter is made from 100% Australian dairy cows’ milk.
Wow! Delicious!!
Everyone can't seem to take their hands off the tarts.
However, easily replicated perfection simply by the procurement of the right ingredients is never an indication of innovation. As such, SCS takes a step further by introducing 8 newly developed pineapple tarts, complemented with a variety of flavours, to enhance and update a much beloved classic. These new varietals include:
-Green Tea Pineapple
-Green Tea Pineapple
This is my favourite! I have a thing for green tea and loves anything with matcha. This pineapple tart infused with green tea is probably the best fusion mix hehe
-Berrylicious Pineapple
I love fruits and this is a combination of cranberry and pineapple making it a match made in heaven.
-Chocolate Brownie Pineapple
I'm a chocolate lover and this is definitely a guilty pleasure with a decadent blend of chocolate and pineapple.
-Pineapple Cream Cheese
If you're a fan of cheese, this would be for you. A concoction of cream cheese and pineapple whipped to perfection.
