Sephora online shopping is superr convenient!

Place an order and they actually ship from Singapore but it arrives at your doorstep few working days later. I was honestly quite surprised with the efficiency and speed.

I purchased some products from Clinique in Sephora online shop and it took just 5 working days to receive my parcel =)

Ta-dah! Arrived safe and sound =)

So, what did I buy?

I purchased 3 products mainly a makeup remover, toner and a lip balm. I have tried Clinique products before and they really offer good quality products although it may be quite pricey. However, I have not tried the above 3 products that I recently purchased so I am just as curious as you are as to how it will turn out to be.

Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk 200ml

Gentle, milky makeup remover easily dissolves even long-wearing face makeup and sunscreens. Tissues off or rinses away with water. Residue-free formula helps maintain moisture barrier, leaves skin soft and comfortable. Ophthalmologist Tested. Ideal for drier skins.

I used to be lazy and not remove makeup using a makeup remover and just immediately wash my face with facial cleanser. But, I was told not to do so and learn the power of double cleanse hehe Because I have oily skin and prone to breakout, it is important that I take off my makeup with a makeup remover first before proceeding to cleanse with a cleanser.

Just pump a desired amount.

Massage gently over dry face with fingertips, avoiding eye area.

Rinse or tissue off.

I am actually a wipes kind of person. I love my makeup remover wipes because it's easy. But after using this cleansing milk, I am now a convert. It's better because now I just need to place this in my bathroom and before I wet my face, use this as a first step to remove my makeup and rinse off and thereafter, proceed to bathe. And then I will use my cleanser for that double cleanse. However, you need to use a separate eye makeup remover for eye makeup. That I would say is the only con because the instructions are said to avoid the eye area during removal of makeup.

I felt that once I used this cleansing milk to gently massage my face, most of my makeup or sunscreen has been removed so that it's easier for the cleanser to do its job later. My face felt fresh and no drying effect which was important to me. Also, with 200ml I think I will be using it for awhile and it's good value for money.

With this, I will now routinely remove my makeup before cleansing my face and not skip this step hehe

Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion 200ml

This is Step 2 in Clinique's Acne Solutions Clear Skin System. It's a gentle, medicated formula to exfoliate and clear dead surface cells as well as unclog pores and reduce excess oil that can lead to breakouts. Oil-absorbing powders eliminate shine. Soothes irritation and visible redness.

Use twice a day, morning and night.

Shake well.

Apply with a cotton ball, sweeping gently over face and neck.

For external use only. Avoid eye area and lips.

Shake vigorously every time before you open the lid, because there's a powdery substance at the bottom of it. Once you shake it, you’ll see the clear liquid becomes cloudy. Then pour some toner onto a cotton pad and apply. 

The toner however has a heavy alcohol scent that may not be to some people's liking. It's quite strong to a point that when the cotton pad nears my eye area, I could feel my eye sting. But it takes some getting use to and after a few more applications, I don't really feel the sting anymore. But be careful when you have a popped pimple and if the toner goes over it, there's some stinging sensation.

So far this product has been great towards my skin. I didn't get any breakouts while using it, The powder is supposed to absorb oil but I didn't notice any matteness or less oil than what I experience on a normal day.

I have been searching for the perfect baby pink lip colour and I finally found it in Clinique's Chubby Stick range. Out of the 10 colours available online, my eyes went straight to Woppin Watermelon. The colour looks like the perfect pink lip colour that I was looking for a long time and I immediately added it to bag.

Used a lip liner for colour staying power.

Then blend it with the lip balm.

The first application was sheer and slightly shimmery. I also realised it is super moisturising- perfect for those with dry lips. I wanted more colour for that 'pretty in pink' effect so I layered it and the more I applied, the colour started to be more prominent. Besides, since the texture is creamy, you can go on layering it and the final results is a glossy lip colour.

The reason for that moisture is the shea butter and it keeps lips hydrated all day long with a hint of shine to last the day. That's also the reason why the price is such- pricey for a lip colour balm but high quality! One thing it lacks is pigmentation but I think pigmented lipsticks look dry on lips.

The colour does stay for the day but it needs re-application after meal. It never needs sharpening. Just simply swivel up to reveal more lip colour balm.

I'm super stoked I finally found my perfect pink lip colour and it's definitely something I would re-purchase in the future.

Thanks to Clinique products for keeping my face clean, acne free and beautiful. I could go out with no heavy makeup for that au naturale look with good skin for CNY 2017 <3
