After going to Switzerland and seeing the Swissline range there myself, I am more in love with this brand. My first time trying Swissline was the Cell Shock Luxe- Lift Overnight Balm which got me sold, sisturrr! I now swear by this brand and even brought the overnight balm to my Europe trip to repair my skin from the harsh change of weather. And guess what? My skin still looked fantastic after the trip =)

Recovery Serum – The Star of Cell Shock Age Intelligence™

Skin does not only age as you get older, urban lifestyle hazards can also cause premature aging. Countering the effects of skin senescent and urban lifestyle effortlessly, this paraben-free and allergen-free serum is able to bring about a unified and luminous complexion. Designed for daily use, the serum adapts to all skin types and can be used to prolong youth inducing.

Deriving from the plant Centella asiatica, also known as “tiger herb”, Madecassoside® is an ultra-potent purified compound proven to modulate stress-induced conditions and to rebalance self-renewal. It deeply hydrates and improves the skin’s suppleness and soothes the sensation of dryness.

The award-winning cyclopeptide Ronacare® has been proven to improve skin structure and reduce wrinkles by 15%. It also boosts the production of basal membrane proteins, including collagen and laminins, and simultaneously protecting the tissues from proteins responsible from breaking down elastin and collagen.

Ectoin is also a natural substance synthesized by an adaptive microorganism that thrives under extreme environmental conditions, such as glacier deserts and salt deserts. Can be called an 'anti stress' molecule as it helps to protect the cellular membranes from environmental hazards resulting from temperature variations or living in-doors/in-flights.

When we first tried the serum, I was surprised that it was whitish and texture looking more like a cream. I thought a serum would be more transparent and watery.

However, after rubbing it on, the texture feels silky, milky and evanescent. It is definitely lightweight and you only need a few drops on face and neck after cleansing and toning followed by a booster or your desired moisturiser after the recovery serum. It can be applied on both day and/or night.

I have been applying this Recovery Serum for over a week now and applying it before the Luxe-Lift Overnight Balm at night. The results? I cannot even believe that I am so confident to go out to work without even a setting powder. Just slap on sunblock, do my eyebrows, a tint of lipstick and I'm off to meet clients (kinda)bare faced =)) It brightens my skin after waking up with a slight glow and moisturises my skin making it supple so it's not oily making me confident to just go out without foundation.

The repairing amino acids is recognised for their ability to prevent water loss in the epidermis which provides the skin with suppleness and improves skin tone. This is my holy grail from now on HAHA
