How are you guys doing in this quarantine period? Hope everyone is staying home, healthy and sane! Haha
Well, hopefully this Covid pandemic will end soon in time for the month of Ramadhan. This Ramadan, inspired by the homely taste of Malay ‘kampung’ comfort food, Utara Restaurant at Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya invites you to feast on mouth-watering classic traditional Malay favourites.
The aptly themed “Citarasa Kampungku” Ramadan Buffet will see an approximate 100 dishes on offer, whipped up by Executive Chef, Chew Teik Chye and Sous Chef, Alifah Binti Kandar also affectionately known as Chef Mommy. The tantalizing spread will feature a mixture of local, Japanese and Western specialties that is bound to satisfy your palate after a long day of fasting.
Memories of your kampung favourites will come flooding back as you embark on your gastronomic journey with an appetizing assortment of flavours that are rarely on offer at urban diners. I must say, I never miss a Ramadhan review from Utara, Armada because they truly serve delicious spread of authentic Malay food.
For Kerabu fans, expect an assortment of kerabus, each tasting even better than the next. This appetizing starter includes Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Nenas, Kerabu Kaki Ayam and Kerabu Udang.

The herbs was very aromatic.
