National No Bra Day

This is the first time I'm hearing this LMAO!!
July 9th is National No Bra Day! So girls, ladies, women, are you daring enough to go all out without a bra?? haha

How this day came about, I'm not sure XD
But Happy No Bra Day, nonetheless!

Nose warehouse sale 2012

I went to the Nose warehouse sale 2011 last year and I bought quite a number of great stuffs which I'm still using today. Nose sale was so much better than the Charles and Keith one which was disappointing XD

This year, Nose is having their warehouse sale again!

This is a definite must go!! Their shoes, bags and accessories last year were so cheap, of good quality and you just cannot resist going back with nothing!!

Moreover, there's free parking as well! All shopaholics, time to fight your way in =))

The Avengers

Oh gosh! I have been waiting forever to get my hands on this DVD. I missed it in the cinema and this kind of blockbuster is a MUST-SEE!!

I finally saw it and yes, it was as good as it was all hyped up to be. I mean put those Marvel superheroes together and they make a fantabulous team!

With Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Thor and the Incredible Hulk in one movie, it's bound to be good. The special effects, the fights, the comedy and our favourite superheroes make a really good entertainment.

Who's your favourite Avenger? Mine will definitely be Iron Man. Tony Stark is one genius, cynical, funny and an awesome superhero. I can't wait for Iron Man 3 =) I think among all of them, he did most of the job and saved the world!

I hope to hear for a sequel to this.

Smooth legs

I have been battling hairy legs and hands since forever! I have always wanted hair-free skin but well, I cannot change the way I am XD

So, I always use an epilator or shave my legs but now I found a better way to remove those hair! Of course, I cannot afford any IPL or hair therapy treatments which will cost thousands of ringgit so, I'll have to make do with temporary measures...

The epilator cannot remove hair effectively. Shaving and waxing will have the consequence of cutting and ingrown hairs. So, I found another method! Smooth legs uses crystal pads to exfoliate and remove hair. It is safe, no cutting and I experienced no in grown hair. This is by far the best method =)

The warnings. What is to be noted is that these are to be used DRY, not on wet or oily skin!

Make sure skin is dry and start in circular motion.

It's like sand paper on your skin. There will be debris from exfoliation. Skin will look whitish or grey-ish because dead skin cell is exfoliated. In the process, hair is removed as well.

The pad will turn whitish as well after usage. When it becomes totally white, it's time to change the crystal pad.

Remove the debris and TA-DAH!! Smooth looking right? After that, moisturise thoroughly.

Smooth legs, although the title says it, is normally used on legs but it can be used on arms, upper lip, chin, armpits and bikini line. For smaller areas, use the small backing pad instead of the large one.  

I find no redness or rashes after using it. You may feel slightly uncomfortable after bathing due to the friction caused to the skin but nothing a moisturiser can't help. The new hair coming out is not rough but smooth. My skin feels smooth as well because of the exfoliation. 

Overall, a really good product. I will stick to this product from now on =)

Twilight: Eclipse book

I finally got my hands on the third book of the Twilight saga series. I really loved the third movie so I decided to read Eclipse.

I'm quite a fan of the Twilight movie series but I didn't even read one of the books. Ironic, right? I mean I love the movies so I wanted to know how is it different from the actual writing of Stephenie Meyer.

Boy, was I surprised to find out that the movie is actually quite different from the actual book! It was supposed to be based on the book but it seems like the movie and the book are quite two different stories XD

The movie somehow nip and tuck certain storylines so that it makes it more appealing on screen. Of course, the core characters and the love story between Bella and Edward are intact as it is the heart of the Twilight series. Reading the book is a whole other story. I was so drawn into the story that I couldn't put the book down until I was extremely sleepy! I was addicted to the book for days.

The writing was fantastic. The way the love story and the friendship between Jacob and Bella was described to perfection! So much so, when I finished reading the book I wanted more! Now, I'm hunting down the Breaking Dawn book! Breaking Dawn:Part 1 movie was very interesting and I can't wait for Part 2. In the mean time, the book is to be read!

I fell in love with the Twilight series so much more now. I'm such a fan! *laughs*

Rating: 4 stars!

Spain EURO 2012 winner!!

Yesss!!! I knew it. I have been rooting for them since day one and they did win it for the second consecutive time!

A whopping 4-0 against Italy, Spain deserved to win the cup!

Although I was hoping for a Spain vs Germany finale, but Italy got through and they didn't perform well last night. The coach also made a terrible mistake substituting 3 players so early that when one got injured, Italy was one man down and played with 10 men.

Goals from David Silva, Jordi Alba, Fernando Torres and Juan Mata sealed their fate to be the EURO 2012 winner! Torres was also awarded the Golden Boot Award =)

This is the end of EURO 2012 and now everyone can have their sleep back *laughs* No more waking up in the wee hours. Can't say I will miss that XD

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise divorcing!

TomKat as they are known are now no more =((
Can't say I was expecting this at all!! So surprised by this news in fact =((

It was reported that Katie filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened. This is the end of their five-year mariage.

Hmm...who will take custody of their adorable daughter, Suri Cruise?
