Currently, two new masks have just landed in Watson Stores which are the Manuka Honey Peel Off and Creamy Coconut Mud. Each sachet has up to 2-3 applications.

Manuka Honey Peel off:

Peel Off masks are gentler than scrubs and also leave skin incredibly purified and smooth. You’ll be amazed to see how many dead skin cells show up on the masque after use! For this Peel Off mask, busy bees have collected nectar from the Manuka Bushes of New Zealand creating the renowned Manuka Honey- nature’s own amazing cleanser.

For healthy skin- use weekly.

Just four steps:
1.Cleanse
2.Apply
3.Relax for 15-20 minutes
4.Peel it off

It looks like honey from the jar and smells exactly like honey. I felt like I was spreading pure honey on my face *laughs* It can be quite sticky at first.

Spread it on and wait for a few minutes, where the mask will tighten and dry up and form a shiny film on the face.

After 15-20 minutes, the mask would have completely dried up and you can start peeling it off.

The peeling process can be quite fun hehe

The mask smells amazing and I like peel off mask as it's easy to use. After using this mask, I could feel my skin has been rejuvenated after the dead skin cells come off.

Next is the Creamy Coconut Mud:

Unlike sheet / tissue masks, only mud/clay based masks will reach deep down into pores to draw out impurities and excess sebum- before it becomes a problem! For this mask, they've harnessed the hydrating goodness of fresh Coconut Water and added lots of other natural ingredients such as Shea Butter to also soothe and moisturise. A beauty treat your skin will love you for! Coconut water is all the rage with skin conscious celebs so they've packed its natural hydrating goodness right into a mud mask!

Since this sachet can use for up to 2-3 application, just tear off this portion and fold it after use to keep for the next time.

Again just four steps:
1.Cleanse
2.Apply
3.Relax for 15-20 minutes
4.Rinse

I find all Montagne Jeunesse masks have great scent!
This has a strong coconut smell and I really felt like having some fresh coconut water while applying the mask hehe

Spread it on and it will look like a white cast.
The mud/clay mask will harden and dry up in awhile.
Then just cleanse it off easily.

Since I have large pores, clay mask is best for me because it cleans deep down into pores leaving my skin impurity-free and hydrated!

My skin was thanking me after the use of Montagne Jeunesse masks!
It seems clearer, fresher and hydrated =)

Afternoon tea set at Pastis Cafe, Gardens

I absolutely lurve hi-tea! I'm a dessert kind of girl so anything with cakes, chocolate, scones and the likes will make me very excited hehe

I decided to try the afternoon tea set at Pastis Cafe, Gardens.

It's simple yet fulfilling =)

The afternoon tea set consist of:
2 pcs Toasted Salmon Sandwich
2 pcs Tomato Bruschetta
2 pcs Mushroom Quiche
2 pcs Scones served with cream & jam
2 pcs Mini Chocolate
1 Tiramisu
1 Chocolate cake
1 Creme Brulee
2 pots of coffee/tea served with 2 pcs of biscuits

I didn't quite like the Quiche as it was a bit tasteless but aside from that, everything else was yummy! I especially love the toasted salmon sandwich and anything else with chocolate.
Sitting by the window, having afternoon tea with good company is a great way of spending the weekend =)

The tea set was highly popular. Almost 3/4 of the people in the cafe were having the tea set.
It costs around RM58(inclusive of tax) which was okay considering it was in Gardens and Gardens things are not cheap.

Year of the Horse

I was actually quite bumped that I didn't do any preparation for Chinese New Year. I didn't have the time to go for pre CNY shopping, no time to hunt for clothes and I was basically working late hours till the eve of CNY >.< I was actually looking forward more to the holidays rather than the celebration itself.

But coming home to the reunion dinner..

gave the New Year's feeling and the gathering of relatives and the chatter and the cookies finally got me the CNY feeling =)

Luckily got this dress from my shopping spree in Thailand last year that I haven't got the chance to wear.
Put it on and got ready for the first day of CNY and started the ang pow collection hehe
That's the best part of CNY!!

Gong Xi Fa Cai and happy holidays <3

Play it with Bloop

Thanks to HiShop and Bloop, my nails have been looking good for the festivities.
This time around, they sent me another set of nail stickers.

It's actually for kids but can be used for adults' toe nails.

Very pretty design! Mad love <3
It is quite fragile though. Fragile can be good when you want to file it to fit your nail shape, but bad when it tears easily. So be extra careful when using the stickers.

Ta-dah! Transformed the stickers sideways to fit adult toe nails.
You just have to play around, tweak it and add some creativity to achieve the end results =)

I can now have gorgeous toe nails!
I really love the flower design as it suits my taste.

Freshlook Colorblends in Gemstone Green

I'm really liking Freshlook Colorblends and the choice of colours they have. After using True SapphireHoney and Brilliant Blue...this time around I'm trying out Gemstone Green!

After Lasik, I was advised not to wear cosmetic contacts for at least 3 months. Now that it's 5 months and there's no dryness, I'm able to don as many coloured contacts as I want now. YAY!! Hehe I know, I know, the reason I went for Lasik was so that I don't have to wear contacts/specs, but I really like coloured eyes LOL and even before this, I love trying out different coloured contacts. Anyway this is for fun and I don't wear it on an everyday basis so here's my take on Freshlook Colorblends in Gemstone Green.

Without flash (the colour is actually quite prominent)

With flash (under bright light, it really looks like cat eyes haha)

If you like eyes colour that pop and you want to bring attention to your eyes(because it's your best feature) then I must say, Gemstone Green should be the colour for you. If you like natural colours, perhaps stay away from Gemstone Green otherwise you would be uncomfortable having such green eyes hehe

What can I say? I love attractive eyes and honestly, it is my best feature, so I'm really lovin' this colour! Besides, it's super comfortable to wear which is the main reason why I love Freshlook Colorblends =)
