It is formulated with AHA & BHA. But what exactly do they do?

AHA removes dead skin cells on the surface of the skin while BHA removes impurities and declogs the pores. In combination, they act to remove external impurities in pores as well as on the skin surface.

It comes with a pump for easy usage.

Dampen the skin and apply an even layer onto the skin, massaging till a rich lather forms. Leave on for 30-60 seconds before rinsing away with warm water.

After 1 minute, I could feel the bubbles starting to form larger and pops and you can hear the popping sound all over hehe. It's quite fun to use a bubble mask.

The thing about other bubble masks are that, they transform into bubbles immediately when in contact with skin. I quite dislike that because I have not finished slathering on the mask and they have already bubbled up and if I coat it on, it will pop the previous bubble layers if you know what I mean. However, the benefit about this Althea Milk Peel Cream mask is that it is a clay texture first so that it does not transform so fast into bubbles and I can still evenly spread it on my skin and thereafter it turn into bubbles =)

It definitely removes dead skin cells, clogged sebum and impurities from the air WITHOUT irritating the skin. Skin feels really moisturized and refreshed with casein that’s packed with vitamins for a healthy complexion.

Since it's a peeling mask, I try to limit the usage to 1-2 times a week in the evening. I find it especially great that after working hours with an oily face of makeup, this peeling mask strips away my makeup effectively without any drying consequences. After washing off, skin feels refreshed!
