Largest Sanrio Exhibition in Southeast Asia

As promised in my previous post, Hello Kitty and her friends have arrived in Malaysia and is now exhibited at Level 5, Hall 5, Quill City Mall KL from 24th November 2018- 6th January 2019, 11am to 9pm daily.

The 1,500sqm large exhibition features 13 Sanrio-themed zones where visitors can view and take photos of out of 400 adorable Sanrio characters in a variety of colourful settings, offering a visual experience like never before.

I totally when ga-ga entering into the exhibition hall. It was like my childhood dream come true!! 

Entering the exhibition, you will be greeted with the Sanrio Time Tunnel.

An array of 100 Sanrio family members created from 1970s til now are vividly illustrated.

The Retro Classic.

 The replica of Hello Kitty coin purse, the first Sanrio merchandise is being displayed here. 

 The giant adorable Hello Kitty was one of the key highlight, measuring 3.5m tall.

Don't worry about pictures because there are standby staffs who are very helpful to take your pictures.

Plushy World zone was my favourite!

This walkway filled with over 2,000 plush toys! Soooo beautiful *screams*

Then there's the Paper Doll Fun.

Vintage Stationery House. 

This brings back so many school memories. I used to have a myriad of Hello Kitty stationery.

Drawing Classroom. 

 In this classroom, there are videos showing how Sanrio characters are drawn step by step. You can learn how to draw your favourite Sanrio character.

 

 Then you come to Sanrio village, a classical design of Sanrio Train, which imitated Sanrio Gift Gate of Gotanda, Tokyo in 1970s.

As Sanrio holds its first exhibition in Malaysia, it is a must to feature the cultural diversity of Malaysia as a setting. Here's a replica of our famous Central Market =)

I was a very happy child in the exhibition HAHAHA. Probably happier than the actual children in there hehe
