Ola Bola

Ola Bola is quite the hyped movie in Malaysia currently.
And yes, it is all as it's hyped up to be.

From the director of the Journey, here's another touching Malaysian story.
It is inspired by the true story during the qualifying rounds for Moscow Olympic games. This was back in 1980.

The show is multilingual. Our rojak language is very much depicted in the movie hehe You will hear English, Bahasa, Chinese and Tamil. The movie has all races as well- it's really 1 Malaysia and with football as the centre of the storyline, it really shows cultural unity in the spirit of the game. The movie shows the story behind every success- hardships, team support, sacrifice etc.

You will laugh, tear and sing along in the movie. Especially during this difficult times in our country these days, economy and politic wise, we need a movie like this to remind us how proud we are to be a Malaysian. This is one true Malaysian movie. And only a Malaysian will understand hehe

You don't need to be a fan of football and neither do you need to know the techniques of a football game to watch this movie. You will enjoy it just as much as those who do.

We need more shows like these produced in Malaysia *two thumbs up*

And I was very lucky on the day I went to watch the show, that suddenly, when the credits have rolled out, the cast were brought out in front of us. We were so shocked that they surprised us like that! And so surreal that we were just watching them on screen and suddenly they appeared real life!

Even managed to take a selfie with main star JC Chee ='))

He looked so different from his character Chow Kok Keong. So much more handsome in short hair hehe *girl crush*

If you haven't watched Ola Bola, I strongly suggest you do!

P/S: It was so good that I watched it a second time ^_^
