OH-M-GEE I love anything with the Samyeang sauce and I love prawns. What a fantastic combo!

Domino's have received tremendous love and support from customers and Korean fans when they first launched the Ssamjeang Tuna, Chicken and Beef. The response was overwhelming and to cater to the growing request of the Ssamjeang pizzas, they have taken it further and created Ssamjeang Prawn.

Truly inspired by Malaysians love for Korean food, Domino’s Ssamjeang Pizzas were specially crafted to deliver the perfect combination of savory, sweet and spicy flavors. Go Thai Restaurant- Authentic Thai street food

I absolutely love Thai food. My favourite non Malaysian foreign delicacies has to be Thai food. When I go to Thailand, their food actually makes me feel like home because I am so used to eating Thai food even in Malaysia hehe Especially walking around the streets of Thailand, I can walk along a road and buy a few types of street food there and then ^_^

However, sometimes the restaurants cooking Thai dishes in Malaysia are not authentic. I feel some of it lacks flavour, authenticity and doesn't taste as nice. Fret not, don't need to fly all the way to Thailand just to fix your Thai cravings.

Go Thai restaurant is here to fix all your Thai cravings with authentic Thai street dishes from Isan, a region in the north-east of Thailand. This is the SS2 branch. There is another one in Atria Mall.

Mmm...makes my tummy growl. What makes it even more authentic is that the chef is from Thailand! And the ingredients to the kitchen staff; everything is imported from Thailand to give you a real Thai experience.

This is their menu. You can find your favourite Thai food being served here.

Famous Thai appetizers, desserts and drinks.

All layed out...

..for me only HAHA jk

Their Thai milk tea is made from the world's famous Thai milk tea brand. So don't worry about it not tasting like the ones you buy in Thailand. Rest assured, this Thai milk tea is authentic! So are the other milk teas. The pandan lemongrass drink is another one to try as it's rather refreshing on a hot day.

You can upsize your drink for only RM1.

Green curry rice balls. This is very unique like chicken rice balls haha

But it's crispy on the outside and its green curry rice on the inside.

The rice balls go super well with the green curry broth. It's not very spicy, but sweet and flavourful. I was drinking this and the tom yam broth the whole evening hehe

Kai Jeaw Poo- Michelin star inspired famous crab omelette.
In Thailand, the Michelin star restaurant serves the crab omelette like this and people queue up for 3 hours just to buy this and it costs 1000 baht. However, you can get yours too in Go Thai sans the queue and the high price. Warning: Eat it while it's hot. As we were taking pictures, when it turned cold, it became a bit hard. Eat it right after it's served and it's super yummylicious. It is made out of 90% crab meat and two eggs and since I'm a crab lover, I can see myself coming back for more haha

Phad Ki Mao- famous drunken noodle.
It's like Malaysia's kuey teow noodle. Thai food are super compatible to Malaysian taste buds due to some similarities in cooking. And no, there is no alcohol in it.

   Tom Yum Seafood.
I love spicy tom yum broth and this was perfect. It was spicy, sweet, sour and all flavours combined into a very tasty and delicious dish! I think I almost finished this by myself LOL

Kha Moo- Stewed Pork Leg
Oh my! This was a favourite among us and the very first to finish. The succulent and juicy pork meat with the soy sauce was a win! It was so delicious and I think since it's very similar to a Chinese dish, we loved it very much =)

Classic Tum Thad- chef's special mixed platter
This platter is perfect for sharing with chicken wings, crispy pork skin, salted egg, sausages, noodles and salad. Mix it all together and this was a really good classic Thai dish!

If you come with a group of 4-6 people, it is recommended that you order the 6 star street food set which is the combination of all the above:
-green curry rice balls
-Tum Thad
-crab omelette
-Phad Ki Mao
-stewed pork leg
-Tom Yum seafood

Plus
-3 steam rice
-3 pandan lemongrass drinks

ONLY for RM128.00

But wait, if you ask for a 'SPECIAL' 6 star street food set, you will receive the green curry for FREE on top of all of the above. Only those who read this will know about this secret 'SPECIAL' set so do quote this 'SPECIAL' set when you are there =)

More foooddddd for ala carte

Pad Thai (RM11.90)
My fave! I can never not eat Pad Thai when I'm in a Thai restaurant. It's almost a default order hehe The noodles were sweet with a tinge of spice and the omelette was cooked to perfection-softly lying on the noodles.

Phad Mee Korat (RM10.90)
This is a local specialty of a town called “Korat” in the Northeast of Thailand. It is somewhat like Pad Thai. The only difference is the noodle is darker and there is no side mixing of the nuts, the chilli flakes etc like Phad Thai.

Pinceapple fried rice (RM12.90)
If you are someone who needs rice, I would suggest that don't order white steam rice but do order this pineapple fried rice. The sweet pineapple, raisin and seafood combo makes this another classic win dish.

Another specialty that has not been launched in the menu but will launch soon in July 2018. Can't wait for this! We were the first to try it out =)
Lemongrass chicken wings.
The lemongrass taste is quite strong and I happen to like it. The wings are cooked and marinated very well and it was a hit among us. The wings were grabbed very fast from the plate.

Special glass noodle chicken wings.
Now, this is something very special. I have never seen something like this before. There were glass noodles fried together with the batter and it was crunchy and very filling. This for snacks with a Chang beer would make a good happy hour time ^^

I'm pretty sure this new addition to the menu will be a hit among customers. And they have a line up of other new additions too so do come back every other time to try out new dishes <3

Since it's going to be the holidays soon, why not take the opportunity with the less cars and jam and hop over to Go Thai!

Tsum Tsum collection that'll make you go Awww

Tsum Tsum fans will be delighted with the newly launched Tsum Tsum collection by Mentholatum. The Mentholatum Tsum Tsum collection definitely has one of the most "kawaii-looking" packaging among all beauty care items in the market.

It'll make you go 'So Kawaii'

Not only does this collection look super cute and appealing especially to Tsum Tsum fans, it is also a joy to use with both fun fruity scents and invigorating floral scents. With the use of skin-loving ingredients, the products aim to deliver the best results to your skin. The Mentholatum Tsum Tsum collection includes facial sheet masks, fruity lipbalms, hand creams and face wash.

Mentholatum Tsum Tsum Face Mask, Single Sheet (RM7.90)

The packaging makes girls squeal. So sayang to tear them open.

The Mentholatum Tsum Tsum Face Mask is available in 4 variants: Rose, Lavender, Honey and Tea Tree.

Each of these masks contain ingredients that help improve various skin conditions:

1. Rose (Deep Hydrating Face Mask) combines 4 types of super moisturizing ingredients and Hyaluronic Acid to provide intense 24-hours long lasting hydration to the skin, making it more firm, supple and smooth. Contains Wild Soybean Seed extract & Natural Yeast extract to help strengthen skin's natural protective barrier and smooth away roughness leaving the skin feeling velvety soft, supple and dewy moist. This mask is suitable for dehydrated skin.

2. Lavender (Soothing & Hydrating Face Mask) contains 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid and soothing ingredients to help restore, nourish and strengthen the skin, leaving it refreshed and energized. It also contains Lavender & Chamomile Flower extracts to smoothen rough skin and calm skin irritated skin. It is suitable for tired and even sensitive skin.

3. Honey (Revitalizing Face Mask) combines Vitamin C, Tranexamic Acid and other brightening ingredients to help deeply hydrate, soothe redness and improve skin tone, leaving the skin looking healthy and enhanced with natural radiance. Contains Natural Honey & Yeast extract to deeply nourish and moisturize the skin. It improves skin elasticity and minimizes the appearance of fine lines over time, to keep the skin looking plump and firm. It is suitable for dull skin.

4. Tea Tree (Oil Controlling Face Mask) combines Chrysanthemum Flower extract, Houttuynia Cordata, Wild Soybean Seed and other natural ingredients to effectively control excess oil, minimize pores for a more refined and hydrated skin. It contains Hyaluronic Acid and Tea Tree extract to help boost skin moisture retention level and oil control. It also helps to minimize the appearance of fine lines thereby keeping the skin soft and smooth. It is suitable for oily and blemish prone skin.

What I realised is that the mask smell so good that it's so relaxing to put on. However, I felt that though it does make my skin moisturised after putting it on, the moisture did not last long. Probably suitable for those just starting out with masks like young adults.

Mentholatum Tsum Tsum Face Wash, 100g (RM14.90)

Available in two variants i.e Hydra and Whitening Face Wash and Pore Refining Face Wash, the Mentholatum Tsum Tsum Face Wash is developed especially for Asian skin in the hot and humid weather like ours.

1. The Hydra & Whitening Face Wash is formulated with Arbutin and Rose extract to help brighten and improve skin radiance for a more even skin tone. It is also enriched with moisturizing ingredients to help retain and replenish skin moisture. The natural rose scent brings freshness and comfort to the skin.

2. The Pore Refining Face Wash helps to minimize pores and re-balance oil using Lentil extract for a more refined smooth skin. Formulated with Rosemary and Witch Hazel extracts the face wash helps to deep cleanse and purify pores for a healthy clear complexion. It is also enriched with Aloe Extract to soothe and moisturize the skin while the natural orange scent lifts your mood and refreshes the skin at the same time.

Both are white facial foams and again smells really good when foamed up. It does have the cleansed feeling which may dry up those with dry skin but since mine is oily, it is still okay towards my skin. However, I would think this range is more suitable for teens reaching puberty. With that said, I did not break out or had any bad reactions to it. Definitely something I can use for a quick 'get me up' or during travels.

Mentholatum Tsum Tsum Fruity Lipbalm, 3.5g (RM11.50)

Mentholatum Tsum Tsum Fruity Lipbalms contain Vitamin E, Argan Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil and other moisturizing ingredients that deeply hydrate and nourish the lips. The ultra-smooth and lightweight texture combined with refreshing fruity flavour of Apple, Lime or Peach melts on your lips for long-lasting moisture – keeping the lips soft, smooth, healthy and protected from harsh environment and extreme weather.

It is very moisturising but it does not taste like its scent. The smell is strong but once applied on lips, it's like any normal lipbalm. I do however love the 'Lime' one because the sour scent really makes me awake once I opened the cap hehe

Mentholatum Tsum Tsum Hand Cream, 50g (RM16.90)

Available in three variants of Rose, Lavender and Jasmine – the Mentholatum’s Tsum Tsum Hand Cream contains ultra moisturizing Almond Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil as well as other moisturizing ingredients to help nourish, protect and ensuring a more youthful-looking skin.

Skin feels hydrated and smooth as you massage the hand cream into your skin while the relaxing flower scent calms you after a long hectic day. Apart from hydration, the hand cream also helps strengthen the nails thus preventing them from becoming brittle.

My favourite seems to be the Jasmine scent. The hand cream is generally moisturising and keeps skin hydrated. Which to choose will depend on your favourite scent =)

Overall, everything in this range smell really good and if you love scented products, this is something for you. I know Tsum Tsum fans can't wait to get their hands on these cute collection. Available at Watsons, AEON Wellness, Caring and Sasa nationwide!

The birthday month of May

May is always an exciting month for me hehe..because it's my birthday month!! And I'm super blessed to be surrounded by my loved ones. I'm always spoiled with good food and this month is no exception to that *laughs*

Let's start with the start of the month where we wanted to try something different for a change. I don't normally go to Chinese restaurant because we have Chinese food at home lol but walking by, it looks interesting.

There was a Magnum event at Sunway Pyramid concourse and you get a free Magnum when you play a game.

Handpicked this arrangement =)

Softserve in a food truck.

TJ Haus at SS18, Subang
I was quite shocked that for almost 3 years plus working so near this area and didn't even know this European restaurant existed.

But the fountain a bit obscene...

Crispy duck

Sausages.

I must say the food was delicious. The setting was very cozy and was really surprised that it was quite packed.

Back at Skillet 163, KL. This is starting to be our favourite restaurant.

Specialty coffee.

Lychee tea,

Complimentary appetizer.
Thai salad with green curry foam

Complimentary bread.

This is the most sinful lunch I've had!
Nasi kandar at Pelita. Gosh, felt so guilty afterwards haha

We went to a food truck area near Taylor's college one of the days. Love getting different food menus from different food trucks so we can have a variety of taste.

Quesadillas

Durian milkshake. Hmm..it was alright.

Wings from Cowboys Food Truck.

Then, election day came. Did you vote??

I did =) and every vote makes a change and it did!

Voted and got discount for Inside Scoop ice cream hehe

Dirty roll from Donutes. I prefer the Dirty Bread.

Coconut soft serve from Family Mart. Not bad actually.

Visited Harvest Ground, Sunway again.

Japanese curry with chicken. We totally wiped out the curry and the egg haha

Man Tao with chicken and sweet potato fries.

Eggette with jackfruit and coconut ice cream.

I must say, their food never disappoint.

These tiny bottles are so cute! It's from Taiwan.

We had a celebration at Grand Imperial restaurant, Hartamas

Pecking duck.

Mmm yummy!

Soon Hock! Super expensive but soo delicious.

Fried sotong which was such a fail.

Bbq pork ribs.

Food was overall average but the price was quite expensive I must say.

We had the most amazing dinner at a restaurant at Arked Esplanade, Bukit Jalil. Full on crabs for the night which was mega. Mega in size, mega in taste and overall made us mega full hahaha
Kam Heong.

Look at the size of it.

Buttermilk flavour.
Both were equally yummy and I would totally revisit just for the crabs <3

Tried the new Poke Lab at Empire Shopping Gallery.

Most sauces were unavailable but nevertheless it was still a fulfilling meal. Once in awhile, I like to eat healthy too hehe

Hot Wings! Forever favourite wings with their signature sauce.

Lobster inari from a sushi shop at Empire <3

Was feeling guilty from all the food and wanted to detox a bit.

So I blended half an avocado, added soya milk, chia seeds, banana and honey and I got a milkshake! Meal replacement.

Yay! Beautiful birthday flowers <3

Rakuzen at SS15 courtyard.

There's even popcorn.

Oh, this was a fan favourite.

Sup gear box.

Lamb

Cake overload that day haha

The next day,
More cakeeee

BR ice cream is my favourite =)

Night time dinner at K Fry, IOI City Mall Putrajaya
This was samyeang noodles in a restaurant lol

This was super sinful!

Look at the cheese.

After rolling the chicken with cheese, it was sooo yummy! Will definitely recommend this place.

Bottle and Boar, Subang Jaya

Their sausages are a good beer snack.

Salad was good too.

Pulled pork with man tou. This is a MUST TRY! We loved this!

I also took some time for a vacation at Club Med, Cherating. At first sight, it seems great that this place has everything and you do not need to go elsewhere and all you need to do is just stay there and relax and everything is catered for you at Club Med.

The beach was peaceful and serene because it's private and not many people =)

However, I have to say I was largely disappointed with my overall stay at Club Med, Cherating.

The rooms were old, unclean and small for the price we paid. Room service was horrible. We asked for room slippers and they did not arrive. We asked for 3 water bottles and only 2 came. I mean, what kind of service is this? The bar people were not very friendly, sometimes they were unhelpful. I did not pay RM1,2xx for 3 days 2 nights to get some lousy service. Some things were arranged beforehand but it did not happen when we arrived. I think because the place was huge that there were miscommunication between them.

The toilets were separated between the bathing area and for peeing. I felt kinda weird LOL

The food I must say was below par.
Some desserts were almost not edible.

Looks nice...but...

The good thing is alcohol was free flow until 12am HAHA

Tequila shots everyone! I was on gin and tonic this whole trip hehehe

Other than the clear blue skies and water, I was quite unhappy with the overall stay because I was in charge with organising this trip and the people at Club Med sometimes weren't helpful and unhappy to serve. But luckily I have great companions to ease the vacation heheh...

Beautiful serene walk in between.

Away from the beach is the Zen Pool.

Rembulan restaurant must be booked at 8.30am on the day before the dinner. We had to queue to get booking at Rembulan and it is a sit down somewhat fine dining dinner.

Appetizer.

Beef salami.

Tom Yam Goong.

Fish.

Duck.

Creme Brulee.

I must say the night events in Club Med were quite happening.

The performances were awesome and we really enjoyed all the performances.

We even celebrated my super early birthday there =)

I don't think I will come back again unfortunately. Club Med, you really disappointed me ='(

However, that aside, I still enjoyed my companions there and I did have a very eventful month! It was a month with all new things- new environment, new job, new responsibilities and of course a new age hehehe but still young at heart =p I really am very blessed to be surrounded with people I love and I am truly thankful for all the efforts made in making my birthday a special month =) I can't wait for what lies ahead of me. I reckon this year will be a very special year for me leading towards my big day <3
