#9 What you don’t leave the house without?

Actually I leave the house with quite a number of things, that's why I have huge bags to fill all my things and then can't find things in my bag *laughs*

But, the most essential stuff would be:
- my purse(most important!)
- my phones(very important as well!)
- car keys(obviously!)
- tissue(every girl should have at least a pack)
- water bottle(in case I'm thirsty)
- an umbrella(just in case coz I've been caught in the rain too many times)

Yeap, these are my utmost essential! Optional ones, are my makeup pouch, some biscuit when I'm hungry =p and of course if I'm off to college, stationery and books =)

What do you think? Too much stuffs? lol

Spotted!

Ooohh la-la...Amber Heard arrived at the Metropolitan Opera Gala premiere looking sassy and hot in a black YSL silk gown!

Check out her sexy back!

Great body, flawless makeup and a messy updo- what a fantastic combination!

Justin Bieber- Boyfriend

Woooowww...Justin Bieber raps like an adult in this new song!!! I couldn't believe that it was him. I'm actually not quite a fan of Justin Bieber, but this song...hmm...I kinda like it *laughs* The rap part is not bad!

Take a listen!

What do you think? =p

The Hunger Games premiere

All eyes are on the star of the show, Jennifer Lawrence for her red carpet appearances to promote her latest film, The Hunger Games. This movie's opener raked in more money than all Twilight movies! It opened No.1 in nearly all market in played. I was actually quite skeptical of this movie, but now I really want to watch it!

Jennifer Lawrence kept it simple while promoting her Blockbuster film.

I love the centre dress. It's a Calvin Klein frock with major cleavage!! Eventhough the other two LBDs are simple, yet it looks young and pretty. The cutout Jimmy Choos is simply fabulous!

Here she is in a custom gold crocodile print Ralph Lauren gown.

This gown looks similar as above. She must like GOLD. This is a Prabal Gurung cut out gown.

I like how she is not overtly sexy or too flashy. She keeps it just nice yet stunning! This movie definitely made her so much more popular!

Got the Blues?

Many celebrities are donning either blue hair or streaks of blue hair. I guess the colour trend for hair these days is B-L-U-E. Let's take a look.

Katy Perry is still keeping her blue hair after quite sometime. With her quirky personality, I think it suits her =)

Selena Gomez recently posted a picture of herself with streaks of blue hair. Well, she's young and she wanted to experiment! When I was at her age(seems like a million years ago -.-) I wanted streaks of pink hair LOL

Nicki Minaj is constantly seen with different hair colours. Here she is in blue..

The youngest child to get streaks of blue hair is Zahara Jolie-Pitt. How cool is mummy Ange and daddy Brad Pitt?

The latest celebrity to join the bandwagon is Jaime King from Hart of Dixie. She's got half blonde, half blue hair.

I feel like I want to highlight my hair with blue *laughs* It's fun and if people were to ask, well just say all these celebrities influenced me =pp
Yeah probably during my break or as a graduation present for myself hehe

#7 Your favorite musician and why?

TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!

I absolutely love her...Not only she's a pretty face but very talented as well. At only 23 years old, she has achieved so much. She has won multiple Grammys, her songs have gone to No.1 numerous times and her albums are hot- selling.

She writes most of her songs, she plays musical instruments and she has a voice that can sing upbeat songs and slow songs very well. Some of her songs are great sing-a longs like Speak Now, Story of Us, Mine, Back to December, etc. I'm currently addicted to her newest song; Safe and Sound, which is the soundtrack for The Hunger Games.

Also, if you saw the video of her singing with Zac Efron on the Ellen Degenerees show, you will like her even more! They were so much fun!
Not to mention, her sense of style is impeccable. Safe to say, she can never go wrong on the red carpet =)

She's young and talented and she will definitely go far in the music industry. In the next 5 years, if this question is posted to me again, hopefully she will still be my favourite musician. I can't wait to see what she does next for her next album.

Ashley Olsen quits acting for good

I was crazzzyyyy over Mary Kate and Ashley during my young teen years. I would buy their story books, watch their movies, watch their TV series, collecting posters of them; they were practically my idols!

However, as they grew older and entered into college, they stopped acting but went on to do a fashion line instead.

Spotted wearing a gorgeous D&G jeweled dress!

Now, Ashley Olsen, one half of the twins, recently told Elle magazine that she has quit acting for good =( A career that began when they were only 9 months old has now ended for Ashley. She's only 25. She will, however, still be concentrating on her $1 billion fashion empire.

She will still be rich and anyway her last acting stint was with Mary Kate in 'New York Minute' which was in 2004. She said she will remain behind the lens. Their younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, on the other hand, has just started in the showbiz.

Kony 2012

I'm pretty sure many of you have heard about the 'Kony 2012' campaign. It has gone viral in all social network sites.

It's actually a half hour documentary about Joseph Kony- a warlord in Uganda, who has led a guerilla group known as the LRA(Lord's Resistance Army) who is responsible for the enslavement of 30,000 children. Over a period of nearly 30 years, the leader of the Lord's Resistance Army has abducted children and forced the boys to kill their parents and turned the girls into sex slaves.

The aim of this campaign is to use the power of viral media to raise support for his arrest and set precedent for international justice.

However, some are raising doubts as to whether social media is an appropriate forum.

Me, on the other hand, thinks it's a good way to bring social awareness. Hey, I'm all the way from Malaysia and now I know who Joseph Kony is and what he has done. If there is one way to do that, is to share it in social networks as we all know what they can do. Sure enough, in one day itself it went viral and 100 and thousands of people have watched the documentary and donated to support the cause.

It's a very touching story and can I just say Gavin is too cute =)

Do watch it and do your part in making Joseph Kony 'famous' so that he will be captured. We now know about it and we cannot stay quiet because we care about the people of the world!

#6 What’s in your makeup bag?

My makeup bag is pretty simple. It just have the basic makeup applications for touch ups! I don't carry a big pouch, just a small handy one.

These are the things in my makeup bag.

1. Maybelline BB compact powder.
-When my makeup melts, this definitely comes in handy to touch up after blotting.

2. Silkygirl blusher.
- I love the subtle hue of pink this gives to my cheek.

3. Maybelline waterproof eyeliner.
- If I go out the whole day, for night events, I will just thicken my liner.

4. Clinique lip gloss with SPF.
- With a tip applicator, it's very easy to apply after eating.

5. Clinique Mascara.
- Similarly, for night events, apply double dose for a dramatic effect or just apply falsies.

6. Lip Smacker lip balm in Coca Cola flavour.
-When my lips are dry, this really comes in handy. Just one application is enough coz it's very moisturised.

I don't normally apply heavy makeups. Unless it's for a shoot or modelling events, there are makeup artists there to do the makeup so I don't really need much in my makeup bag.

However, I do think it should be brought along especially when you're out the whole day just in case for emergency touch ups! =) I definitely had a few of those emergency situations where I was thankful I had my makeup bag *laughs*

International Women's Day

Each year around the world, International Women's Day(IWD) is celebrated on 8th March, that is today!

The United Nation's IWD theme for this year is Empower Rural Women- End Hunger and Poverty.
Funny how I just learnt about feminism in jurisprudential law. I am not a radical feminist(thinking we can live without men) but I do think the softer gender deserves much recognition and acknowledgement for their success and deserves full enjoyment of human rights.

This is an occassion to review how far women have come in their struggle for equality, peace and development. In the 21st Century, women are being treated so different from how they were being treated in the olden days making their fight for equality worthwhile.

However, it's still a long process before we can really say women fully enjoy fundamental rights, freedom and dignity. This is apparent in the rural areas, hence the theme for the year 2012.

I know many who goes to these rural areas and help in anyway they can to either build houses for them, give free tuition to the children, provide them skills to help them make some money, etc. Do your part, in any way to help them =))

Happy Women's Day! Thank you for making this gender proud!

Channing Tatum

I think Channing Tatum is a very talented actor. Not only is he smoking HOT, he is a multi talented actor. He's a dancer, he does comedy, he can do stunts in action movies yet he can also be soft and gentle in dramas. He is so versatile, he can act in any movie for that matter!

I first saw him in Step Up where I fell in love with his dance moves. Boy, can this guy move!

He acted with Jenna Dewan who is now his wife. Both made great pair on and off set =)

He was a street fighter in Fighting. This is where you can see most of his muscles!

He was a soldier in GI Joe.

Then he turned to drama In Nicholas Spark's Dear John. It was a touching love story.

He was a stripper in Magic Mike. His co stars said Channing Tatum had fantastic moves. I guess credit must be given to his early days as a stripper! Yup, before he was famous, Channing was a stripper! Now, we know, how those moves came about.

His latest movie, The Vow co starring Rachel MacAdams is yet to come to our cinemas. I absolutely have to watch this movie. She was from The Notebook and he was from Dear John, together they are the greatest love story actors =) I cried both in The Notebook and Dear John. I wonder whether I would flood the cinema in The Vow! =p

Update: My review on The Vow

So, you see, Channing Tatum does not act only in one genre movie. He is so talented!!! He can dance, fight, do stunts and make you cry in love stories.
I don't know anyone who is that versatile.

Okay, I just died!

Here are my first 10 songs in my shuffle. These are my faves as well =)

1. Chris Medina- What are words
-I got to know about this song late *laughs* Seems like everyone heard it and fell in love with it only then I knew about it. There's a beautiful story behind this song...It's a Must-Hear!

2. Jessie J- Domino
-Very catchy! My favourite from Jessie J after Price Tag.

3. One Direction- What makes you beautiful
The newest boy band in town! Got to know about them after loving this song so much!

4.Nelly- Just a dream
This song has been around quite long and I can say it's my all time favourite! If I were to hear it in the next 3-5 years I think I would still love it...It's that kind of song =) Besides, I love anything that has 'dream' in it hehe

5. Joe Jonas- Just in love
Joe Jonas' first solo which is really beautiful!

6. Rihanna- Cheers

7. Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen- 5o'clock in the morning
Very unique collaboration which produced a nice song!

8. Avril Lavigne- What the Hell

9. Jessica Mauboy- What happened to us
Didn't hear about her until this song caught my ears. She sounds like Shontelle.
