Desserts galore

I had a sudden sweet tooth during CNY and have been ordering desserts totalling almost RM500 all in LOL Don't know what came into me but there's a surge of cafes surrounding me selling really yummy looking desserts and many home made bakers baking yummy goodness!! So I went all out to share with friends and family as well =) Some were also gifted to me (bless your hearts!)

These crunchy cookies by It's Ho Some were sooo addictive! One cookie is never enough! Had to eat least have 5 or more per time. It was gone in no time LOL

Another favourite was from Delicieux_pate (Instagram) and their chocolate cookies were a winner! Another one gone in no time hahaha

Doughnuts and cream puffs bought from Sugar & I. Doughnuts were good when it's hot but it turned soggy few hours later. The cream puffs however, were soo good. Burst of cream upon a bite and it's the perfect flavour. Cream puffs were the winner!

Waffle and ice cream from Fatbaby Ice Cream.
The crunchy caramel ice cream was really good. And the frozen waffle was so easy to heat up and it didn't turn soggy. After heating up, it was as good as baked fresh. The ice cream had crunchy goodness in it that made a normal ice cream taste yummier.

Baskin Robbins ice cream in Cotton Candy Bubblegum flavour.
It had that popping candies in it and bubblegum flavoured fudge =)

I'm a repeat customer of Trianon chocolate cakes. Their cake is something out of this world. If you crave for chocolate cake, please have a try at this.
The premium chocolate melts in your mouth and the crunchy base blends well with it. There's no other chocolate cake can compare to this haha

Also, thank you Trianon for the free gift! The buttery pineapple tart was definitely made of premium butter.

Most of my money was spent on Michelle Young hahahah

Bought Tiramisu and Pistachio doughnuts. Some thought Pistachio were better, some preferred Tiramisu. My preference was Pistachio. Both were not too sweet. Doughnuts were so fluffy and soft. Their doughnuts were a big winner. Bought their cookies too. But, we think it wasn't worth the high price and hype. Stick to their doughnuts!

Kakigori by Aftermeal.
Most expensive Kakigori hahaha RM27 for a Milo Kakigori. But their ice shavings were so fine and we keep coming back although it's pricey LOL

Desserts from Little People. I bought only their bestsellers.
Brownies were a letdown but their Matcha White Chocolate and Lemon tart and Matcha Roulade were big winners. It was the crowd's favourite. Their matcha desserts had very significant matcha taste so you know they didn't stinge on it.

On some side food post, I continued my cooking adventure throughout MCO 2.0

Made ham puff pastry #cheatone
The Kawan ready made frozen pastry is what every housewife should buy. Just wrap your favourite filling and air fry it. The flaky pastry is just like those in bakery. Wow, didn't know it's so easy!

Since can't go out, so we brought the drinks home instead HAHAH

First time cleaning and cooking prawns. Turned out not bad. Can definitely tweak this chilli prawn recipe to perfect it.

First time with scallops too lol Butter garlic scallops. So fast and easy. Actually cooking can be quite easy and fast with the right method.

It's all about seafood this time, baybeh. First time air frying salmon. The air fryer is also something every housewife should purchase. I think it's the most overused item in the house hehehe

Saw the egg tortilla wrap on TikTok and replicated it.
Egg, mayo, tuna, lettuce and melted cheese. Yums!

Made another wrap with chicken floss mayo. I'm starting to like wraps now.

Took some breaks from the kitchen and ordered this:
Indomie pizza from US Pizza. Was so-so only. Just to try once in a lifetime haha

Heard rave reviews on Morbites burger and ordered from them.
The Mandarin Milkshake was wayyy too sweet and creamy. The nachos were good. The burger patties were good but the roti canai burger had soggy roti canai so didn't prefer that.

The CNY Szechuan burger was tangy and spicy and that's my favourite out of all.

Ordered from Muo.Le. Saw from their instagram that they had a standard RM8 delivery fee throughout Klang Valley. So I was enticed.
Ordered straight four types of food from them because they had a combo deal. RM55 for all. We also topped up soda sirap bandung and it was really good. The winners were mee bandung (because of the generous condiments) and tauhu bergedil (because of the spicy sauce) for us. The soto ayam was good too but the ketupat in soup is not really my type haha and the laksa johor's gravy was also good and the sauce was spicy but had no condiments in it. Overall, the person was very friendly and the food was overall good. We should support more local businesses.

Was craving for banana leaf with kari ketam and went all the way to Kanna Curry House, PJ to get my cravings fixed when the MCO restrictions for dine in was uplifted.
Had 2 plates of kari ketam all by myself hehe #cravings satisfied.

Luckily amidst all the eating, I was also exercising everyday to burn all the calories haha
Managed to level up to 100 in Switch Ring Fit. So proud of myself =) The Ring Fit was really good in keeping us fit during the MCO period so that we have a food and exercise balance.

Hope that everyone is staying healthy and hang in there xoxo This pandemic too shall pass soon!
