Food galore

Now that MCO is uplifted and it's CMCO and dining restrictions are less strict, I can finally tone down on my cooking time hahaha and eat out!! Here's some food adventures since MCO was uplifted.

Hana Dining and Sake Bar, Sunway Pyramid.

Yes, the food were fresh but it's too pricey for my liking.

Headed back to Thosai Cafe because we absolutely love their variety of thosais.

We even asked for spicy ones and the chef recommended some which definitely suited our palate. Will always revisit this place if we're around the area.

Had dinner at Envi Skydining.
Smoked salmon appetizers.

Baked fish.

Smoked duck pizza.

Pasta

Wagyu beef (don't know why there's cheese on top lol)

Lamb cutlets was the winner for me!

Great view with great company summed up a perfect night. Envi is good for special occasions and food and price were decent.

Bought some desserts from Good Ground Bakery, Subang.
The husband really loved the matcha cheesecake. The chocolate tart was not too bad as well.

Finally, made a visit to Hejau.
Their matcha drinks were refreshing.

Their polo bun however was a disappointment. The butter was melted so how was I supposed to insert the butter in the bun? LOL

Luckily, right around the corner we dined at Ramen Bar Shi Shi Do.
Black garlic ramen

Curry spicy ramen.

This definitely lived up to its hype. The broth were very flavorful and exciting. But only thing was that need to queue up before entering and once ordered, we actually waited almost half an hour for food to arrive. But if you don't mind waiting, then this ramen place is a must visit!

Saw a very instagrammable cafe. Mary Jane opened at Jalan Petaling and made reservations to dine for lunch.

Lychee Mojito (RM20)
Cappucino (RM16)
Lychee Rose Macaron (RM7)

Crab & Egg Drop (RM29)
This took almost an hour to arrive. Because it was opening weekend, so they couldn't cope with the spike of guests. However, the server kept apologising.

Beef rendang pie (RM29)

Quite hollow inside haha but the taste was not bad. If there was more curry, would have been better.

Interior was as beautiful as you see on instagram.

Do also check out the powder room and you'll be surprised. Everything inside was flowery and the interior definitely did not disappoint. But, only if their service improved, can visit again.

Walked down the street and found this 'Da Bao' restaurant which sells everything mantao.
Beef mantao.

Ice cream mantao.

Their inti taste was not overpowering so a bit bland with the bread. Quite disappointing actually.

Dae.Janji, Subang
Nasi lemak with korean fried chicken. Not bad.

Wonton noodles with soft shell crab. For some reason, inside the crab was cold and not cooked? Not sure if it was supposed to be that way so I kinda wasted the crab. Noodles was decent though.
But RM26 for this was on a high side.

All day Polo Bun, PJ

This is how you make a good polo bun! Crunchy crust with unmelted butter inside. Soo good!!

Had the cheese pork chop polo bun also.

Luncheon meat polo bun.

Tried their egg tart as well.

Overall, food and service was very good. Will definitely re-visit. Since we can't travel to Hong Kong, at least can taste a bit of HK hehehe

Any nice new cafes to recommend me?
