Domino's unveils Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake

Known the world over for its hot and tasty pizzas, Domino's is taking a step further in expanding menu options for its customers. In addition of its already extensive menu range, Domino's today just launched a brand new dessert, a scrumptious one-of-its-kind, Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake (what a mouthful to speak haha). In light of the festive Raya celebrations and in the spirit of enjoying good food together with friends and families, the dessert is a great addition to its popular dessert range.

From their findings, more than 10% of the total sales are inclusive of desserts. Domino's is the first Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) to offer the Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake. Being a pizza company does not limit their creativity to only pizzas and following the success of their dessert range, the all time favourite Chocolate Lava Cake and Peanut Butter Chocolate Lava Cake, today, yet another Lava Cake joins the family. 

Baked to perfection, the Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake is served hot and fresh from the oven. Its complex yet delicate flavors offer pizza and dessert lovers a delightful dessert and a perfect way to end a meal on a sweet note with the mouth-watering rich luscious cheese molten filling and tangy blueberry flavors.

I was among the first to experience the decadent Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake before the official release in stores.

 And when you dig in, the molten cheese lava oozes out. Caution: please eat while its hot otherwise the lava won't ooze out.

Verdict: I'm a dessert lover myself and I happen to really like cheesecakes haha. I love the combination of the salty cheese and the tangy blueberries. Because it has a molten centre, it is not so 'jelak' with the cake by itself. I was surprised that it wasn't very sweet which is a plus point. Overall, a good dessert to end a pizza meal =)

The flavorful cheese cream comes all the way from New Zealand and fresh blueberries from France. You can actually see the blueberries in it. From 1 July 2018 and for a limited time only, savor the Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake at an introductory price of only RM7.10. In conjunction with this, the Chocolate Lava Cake and Peanut Butter Chocolate Lava Cake are also up for grabs at RM7.10 only.
