Lee Chong Wei strived all the way to the finals in the World Championship held in Wembley.
But so near....yet so far =((
He played Lin Dan in the finals. He was doing so well in the first set, but made huge crucial mistakes in the second set which then made them play the rubber set. However, Malaysian dreams of getting a gold medal crushed when he hit into the net in the final determining point.
It was so close...Lin Dan won 23-21, 14-21 and 21-23
Nevertheless, I think Chong Wei played really well this time. He has definitely improved a lot from the last time I saw him play against Lin Dan. He could take most of Lin Dan's smashes and I think his own mistakes from poor line calls made him loose XD
Anyway, better luck next time! I still think he's a great badminton player =))
