Laser tag

Laser tag is a game almost like paintball only less painful. I have never played laser tag before until last week where me and my friends went to Mid Valley and played at Galactic Laser.

It is fun actually and when you get shot, you'll only be deactivated for a few seconds before you can start shooting again. So you won't actually 'die' and be out of the game until the game finishes..

Each will get a suit like this..

The suit comes with a gun and each team will have its own colour and each person will get a different name so that when the game ends, you can see the scoreboard who has the highest score. Mine was 'Predator'.

There are certain things about this game:
-Come with a group of friends preferable 5 and above so that it'll be more fun. You'll play with other groups.
-There's a short briefing session before every game starts.
-Each game has it's own set of rules. There are different level games and some level you can power up etc
-You can laser shoot at four parts: The centre front of the suit, the shoulders, behind the suit and the gun to gain points.
-You can gain more points by shooting some extra stuffs in the room like boxes, poles, snake, etc
-Listen to your suit *laughs* It actually talks and if you power up or doing the wrong thing or got deactivated, it'll tell you!

Pointers:
-If you want to win, be the team at the highest floor in the room so that you can shoot people below. It's quite hard to find cover below and in the first game, we were amateurs and were camping down there and got last! Then lesson learnt and we went up there instead for the second game.
-Be sure to hold your gun with two hands or else it'll not shoot.
-There will be martials monitoring during the game so no playing rough or else they will deactivate you!

It's a fun game especially if you come with your own group of friends and strategise and have fun! It's unusual for me because I have never heard of it before and the first time I'm hearing it, is the first time I played it. Also, it's quite easy to top your group. You just start shooting, don't stop and find cover! Really amateur girl like me also could top the group so it's very easy to learn =)

Just one thing: it's quite pricey though. We paid RM55 for 3 games. One game is 10 minutes. But when you're playing, it actually seems quite long *laughs*

More important, just go with it and have fun!!
