Met Gala Ball 2012

The annual Costume Institute Gala, known as the Met Gala Ball yet once again didn't disappoint with celebrities donning gorgeous gowns from different designers. This is like the 'fashion's Oscars' where celebrities dress to impress at the world's best red carpet event!

Some are over the top and just weird while some were stunning! These are some of my best dressed:

Ashley Greene is like a Grecian goddess in a Donna Karan Atelier white grecian gown. So elegant!

Nina Dobrev also in Donna Karan Atelier with a long train. Just gorgeous with the updo and the makeup!

Jessica Alba in a one-shoulder gold Michael Kors gown. Who would have thought she's a mother of two?

Scarlett Johansson donned a Dolce & Gabbana pearl-embroidered, off-the-shoulder gown with a fit-to-flare silhouette. Love the bodice.

Lea Michele from Glee is every bit sexy in a Diane von Furstenberg dress.

Karolina Kurkova turned heads wearing a custom long sleeve rose gold sequin gown with open back and train by Rachel Zoe Collection. This is different yet very high fashion!

Amy Adams is beautiful in a one shoulder Giambattista Valli Couture.

January Jones in a pop of yellow in Versace. It's fresh and young looking!
