It's Good Friday. This is the day Jesus died on the cross for all our sins. Normally, on this day, mass will be a tad longer than usual with the readings, veneration of the cross and psalms.
Some churches even go one step further by re-enacting the passion of the Christ. Before mass, usually Catholic churches will have the way of the cross which depicts 15 important events which took place leading to the death of Jesus.
In the afternoon, at 3pm, this was the time exactly, as it was stated that Jesus died.
Be prepared for heavy thunderstorms today!
P/S: Unfair Sabah and Sarawak have Good Friday as public holiday =((
